Welcome to The MJB Foundation's Golf for Joy 2008!
It has been another great year for The MJB Foundation.
Because of your continued support we were able to make another donation to the
Children’s Hearing Aid Fund at the Ohio State Speech and Hearing Clinic.
We also shared our Joy with a young group of anglers who took part in the Fishing Has
No Boundaries event held in early June. It was an incredible feeling being there the day
of their event to watch the magic on a child’s face as they cast a line into the water and
experienced a joy so many take for granted.
Of course, we’ve also been busy continuing our efforts to build the Gifts of Joy
program, to find a way to provide services to so many who could not otherwise afford
them. Jim is currently taking part in a series of meetings with the MRDD Early
Childhood Education administrators to hopefully, finally make this happen.
As you know, we are always looking for new ways to grow and expand our foundation
and Golf for Joy. To that end, this year we are going to add a new element to our Board.
If you are interested in becoming more active in The MJB Foundation and sharing your
time and talents, please let us know.
