If you cannot see this video, click here. I posted the story of the quarter on my Facebook Timeline that day. In truth, I still can’t tell the story without choking up so I’ll share it again here: A little boy came to our table, asked what we do, looked over everything & asked if “we can donate money right now.” I said sure, thinking he might go find his Mom or Dad. Nope. He reached into his pocket and quietly handed me a quarter. – and that is just one of many cool stories
Working on a lot of Golf for Joy and MJB Foundation business this week, thinking about last year’s tournament and what great success we had. Check out our guest speaker, former Ohio State Buckeye receive Bobby Olive talking about courage, and heart, and Meghan Joy.
(Bobby comes on about 2:25 with an introduction by Keith Hughes from Paetec, one of our sponsors.) We are really looking forward to this year’s tournament on June 30th at Foxfire Golf Club. #assistanceforchildrenwi
Wanted to share a bit about the notifications and sponsorship information that went out this week. If you’d like to sponsor a hole in Golf for Joy click here. Thank you for your time. #columbusgolfouting #golfoutingscolumbus #helpforchildrenwithdisabilities #helpingchildrenwithdisabilities #supportchildrenwithdisabilities
It as easy as 1 – 2 – 3! 1. Pick which hole you’d like your sign displayed on, and it will be posted at that tee box throughout the duration of Golf for Joy 2010. We will have more than one sponsor per hole. (Hole #1 is a premium hole which will go to the highest bidder) 2. Tell us exactly what you would like your sign to say. It is possible to add graphics to the signs, and they can say pretty much anything you would like them to.
Signs are approximately 24″ tall x 16″ wide.
